Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, LLC Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, LLC Joliet, IL Joliet, IL Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $19 - $24 an hour $19 - $24 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago DUTIES - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Assist attorneys with legal administrative tasks, such as preparing legal documents and correspondence - Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, and motions - Organize and maintain legal files and documents - Assist in the preparation for trial, including organizing exhibits and witness materials - Additional work to be assigned as needed.
SKILLS - Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources -College degree and/or paralegal training preferred - Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, such as document preparation and filing - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including typing proficiency and ability to handle voice dictation - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology - Knowledge of litigation procedures and processes - Understanding of relevant laws and regulations Note:
