You will work directly with the doctors and learn valuable skills.
You will be engaged, interested, and enthused about seeing a variety of eye diseases including but not limited to cataracts, glaucoma, and retina!
Responsibilities:
Conducting patient history Measuring visual acuities, intraocular pressures, refraction, and pachymetry Be able to perform A-Scan, OCT, topography, and fundus photos Assist in minor surgical procedures such as injections, lasers, etc.
Surgical Scheduling Code for services Scheduling cases Answer calls
Qualifications:
High school Graduate Strong interpersonal communication skills Superior computer skills Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours Must be able to type or write legibly in dimly-lit setting Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (Strongly encouraged) COVID-19 vaccinated Benefits include:
