Major and established brand name company has an opportunity for a night shift Maintenance Supervisor at their manufacturing site in the Indianapolis, IN area that reports to the Maintenance Manager.
In this role will oversee the maintenance department, production lines and affiliated equipment.
Will maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward exceeding the plants safety and uptime goals while controlling our maintenance expenses.
Other primary responsibilities include leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical coaching of mechanical craftsmen; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.
Bonus eligibility of 8% and includes both base salary and OT.
Vacation is accrued monthly but can be used prior to accruing - 21 days total.
401k is matched dollar for dollar up to 6% plus an additional 3% for a total of 9% company contribution.
Relocation assistance will be provided nationally.
The position is open due to an internal transfer.
The shift is 6:
00pm - 6:
45am and it is a 4x4 schedule.
There is also premium pay for additional unscheduled shift.

You Will:
Lead activities of workers engaged in maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
Monitor downtime occurrences and efficiencies of the production lines, paying special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends - aiming for continuous improvement.
Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel.
Train, motivate and direct employees to follow safe, quality work methods and standards.
Enforce the plant's safety program and maintain compliance to all OSHA safety regulations and standards.
Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of workforce and resources in maximizing equipment reliability.
Maintain equipment for efficient operation within maintenance budget; operate within the constraint of the union contract and USDA regulations.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
You Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent3
years of previous maintenance experience1
years of management experienceExperience with Preventative Maintenance programs and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
