Maintenance Facility Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Facility Technician in Joliet, IL.
As a Maintenance Facility Technician you will:
- Repair belts and conveyor belt components
- Install and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting
- Perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing and security.
- Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
- Maintain records and prepare reports (cost analysis, proposals, etc.).
- Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize work flow.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5
years of experience with building management and/or maintenance. - Experience working with outside vendors and contractors a plus
- Commercial electrical experience preferred.
- Experience with automatic conveyor maintenance/repair is a plus.
- Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, drywall, boilers, as well as grounds maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
- Turn projects around in a timely and efficient manner.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $18.50 (Shift:
1st 7:
30am-4:
00pm Monday - Friday)
