Your daily responsibilities include
SUMMARY
Direct the operations of all food and beverage outlets, kitchen operations and catering services. Duties require good judgment to review labor, supply costs and market data to recommend pricing and make necessary changes and decisions. Directs and oversees all Culinary and F&B Managers, and is an effective leader for Cast members in the Food and Beverage Department. Oversees the operation of hotel, warehouse and receiving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast members.
Formulate, direct, develop and oversee the implementation of goals and objectives for all Food and Beverage, hotel and warehouse/receiving departments.
Review all departmental policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and conformance to company goals and objectives.
Inspect food and beverage outlets, kitchen operations, catering operations, hotel rooms, warehouse/receiving areas to ensure compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
Work with the Sales and Marketing departments to develop food and beverage and hotel requirements for upcoming events.
Communicate with the Purchasing department to develop quality specifications for all food and beverage products.
Review inventory and par levels to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
Evaluate labor and supply costs and market data to develop pricing recommendations.
Review usage, guest counts and revenue reports to determine appropriate staffing.
Plan and formulate the departmental budgets.
Monitor departmental expenses and ensure compliance with the budget.
Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience as an Assistant Director or Director of Food and Beverage or equivalent position in a multi-outlet, high volume environment is required. Casino and hospitality experience is required. Previous experience with design/build and opening of new Food & Beverage concepts is preferred. Successful candidate must have proven leadership skills, effective communications skills, and be an energetic self-starter. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must understand and speak the English language. This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally.
