Communication Partner
DescriptionAmazon is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Communication Partner positions at our fulfillment center in Joliet, Illinois.
The Communication Partner role is an associate who aids in interpreting for our Spanish speaking Amazon Associates as necessary during sensitive conversations with complex topics.
Examples include when reviewing a safety incident, a visit to Amcare, performance management conversations, or other interactions with HR.
The Communication Partner may also on occasion be asked to create or execute job related tasks and projects related to aiding in language interpretation.
When the Communication Partner is not being utilized for interpreting, they may be asked to create or execute HR job related tasks and projects.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment.
Must be comfortable and able to act with confidentiality in matters of a sensitive nature.
Work Environment Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts Noise level varies and can be loud Temperature in the fulfillment center may vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees Very fast pace environment Additional Job Elements Demonstrates positive work attitude and leadership skills Demonstrates excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance Demonstrates a commitment to a culture of safety.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
