POSITION
Summary:

The Mulesoft Developer is responsible for custom application development and support for First Midwest Bank Corp. and subsidiaries.

CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE CHICAGO AREA

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent relevant application experience

years experience in design, development and implementation of system development projects

Experience designing and developing API's using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform

Application development background with experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall or other life cycle methodologies; object oriented, scripting and procedural coding languages; and client server, web and mainframe programming environments
High level of application development skills
Basic understanding of system architecture hardware, O/S, application partitioning, middleware, etc.
Demonstrated experience in problem management and change control processes
Experience, training and background in .NET, web development, client server architecture and SQL Server preferred
Exposure and knowledge of RPA processes, using tools such as UIPath
Ability to establish new business relationships and promote the capabilities of supported applications corporate-wide
Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to document work
Ability to communicate with non-technical business areas
Industry certification in application development preferred
Background in banking or financial applications preferred
Position may require the need to travel to other branch or meeting locations.

DUTIES/
Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of small to large scale projects, as well as in other business activities across the organization
Provide updates to projects as needed for status meetings
Follow control procedures to keep projects on track and regularly report on performance
Ensure effective project coordination and communication within the Application Development Group and key business units
Demonstrates competency in creating new and modifying existing systems as well as completing pre- and post- documentation
Acquire and apply new skills. Seek out knowledgeable employees with application issues
Apply communication, technical and business knowledge to achieve and solve business challenges and achieve corporate goals
Develop technological approaches across a range of platforms and environments including:
platform, intranet, internet and specialized systems as needed
Adhere to and/or develop processes that ensure applications and system stability and performance
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure that applications satisfy users needs and are completed within agreed upon time parameters. Complete projects on time and with a high degree of quality
Employ strong organizational skills that include the ability to work in a project team environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
